Happy New Year!!
WOW! What a year it’s been. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful blessings I have received in 2012. I couldn’t have accomplished everything without the support of my family and friends, and all of you for reading my blog posts, tweets and weekly “Makeover” column in the Province Newspaper. THANK YOU!
I’m very excited and looking forward to all the very cool projects coming up in 2013; stay tuned. To ring in the New Year with style, and a whole lotta Nadittude™, here are a few of my “can’t live without” pieces that I’ll be rockin’ this NYE. Hope it inspires you!
Black Peplum Top - 118 by Walter Baker – Winners
I love peplum! It cinches in the waistline while the flared pleated piece of fabric, attached to the waist, camouflages the tummy. What’s not to love about this winning piece? Wear this with pencil skirt to create a sophisticated feminine look – very 1930′s.
Leopard Sequin Leggings – H&M
How fun are these leggings? They are the perfect combination of sexy AND comfortable, plus they add texture and dimension to the outfit – LOVE! For a casual urban look, try these with an oversized t-shirt and motorcycle boots.
Gold and Crystal Chunky Necklace – Lulu Frost
Not sure if you know this about me but I LOVE funky and unique, vintage inspired accessories! This piece really makes a statement and looks dramatic against black. It would also make a pair of skinny jeans , white t-shirt and blazer look tres, tres chic!
Snake & Spike Peep-Toe-Pump – Sam Edelman “Scarlett”
Toes are so under rated, however, when they’re freshly polished, they can look VERY sexy; especially in these beauts! What can I say, I’m a Pisces; we rule the feet. I like feet…and shoes! Ask Georgia Nicols…
Pressed Pigment Shadow – MAC “Jet Couture”
They say, “the eyes are the windows to the soul”, so be a soul sister and express the inner you with one (or all) of these beautiful shades!
Nail Polish – OPI “Nein, Nein, Nein, Okay Fine!”
Honestly, not only do I think this deep blue-green nail color look FABULOUS with this getup, the name was so cute I had to get it! Seriously, I would LOVE to meet the people that come up with the names for all of the OPI nail colors!
Have a SMASHING New Year, everyone!
