The sailor suit was introduced back in the 1800’s by the Royal Navy and the nautical look has since become a wardrobe staple for Spring and Summer fashion. The classic color combination of navy and white with ascents of red, tan and yellow, compliments every complexion and is a look that is always on trend for the season!
The bell bottomed trousers were designed so that they could be rolled up easily when sailors were scrubbing the decks. The reality is that this cut has come and gone throughout the years (60’s, 70’s, 90’s and a few more times after that…) and guess what? The bell is back! This silhouette is considered to be a classic and works for pretty much every body type; it elongates the legs and minimizes fuller hips and thighs. I’ve had these Arizia trousers for a few years now and although they are no longer available in stores, I still find them to be classic and extremely wearable. They were a great investment.
You’ll often see me wearing bold colors on my lips (red, fuchsia, cranberry) and my FAVORITE color to wear for spring and summer is bright orange. This Kat Von D “A-Go-Go” lip color has been a staple of mine for several years now and I can’t seem to get enough of it. It has a matte finish and stays on all day! Plus, it adds the perfect punch to a clean makeup look.
