TGIF! Here’s some weekend makeup inspiration using Stila cosmetics. This is one of my go-to makeup looks that has never failed me. It’s quick, its simple and it’s fun! Follow along…
Step 1: I started with clean face and prepared my skin with Mereadesso All-in-One Mositurizer.
Step 2: I dispensed 2 pumps of the Stila Illuminating Liquid Foundation onto the back of my hand then used a foundation brush to stipple it onto my skin, starting from the center of the face, working my way out.

Step 2: Using a medium sized skunk brush, I buffed the foundation into the skin to belnd out any excess product and to create a natural finish.
Note:
This Stila Illuminating Foundation contains mica, which illuminate the skin and creates a glowing complexion. It’s a great formula to consider if your goal is to achieve a glowing sheen to the skin in one step. Idealy not the best formula for an oily skin type as sheen is something that you’re probably trying to avoid. For oily skin, I’d recommend Stila’s Stay All Day Foundation and Concealer as it’s oil-free and offers a matte finish.
Step 4: Next, using the Stila Stay All Day Bronzer for Face and Body, I contoured my face to define by facial features, then blended a bit onto my forehead and neck to balance out the color.
Step 5: I’m testing out Stila’s Got Inked Cushion Eye Liner in “Amethyst Ink” . This liner is richly pigmented and dispensed through a cushion soaked in color. Simply dip an angled liner brush or with Stila’s La Quill Precision Eye Liner Brush into the sponge and apply directly onto the lash line.
Tip:
- Hold the eye taught, then start at the middle and trace backward. Connect the liner by starting at the inner corner and working your way toward the middle.
- You may have to apply the product onto the eye a few times to enhance the color. I find that it had a sheer consistency with one coat alone and was easy to build upon and smooth out in two to three coats.
Step 6: Apply Stila Lash Stunner Extreme Lash Primer to add volume and thicken the lashes
Step 7: Apply Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara over the primer. Great thing about this mascara is that it’s long-wearing and smudge-proof.
Step 8: Frame the eyes by filling in and shaping the eyebrows. I’m really loving this Stila Stay All Day Precision Glide Brow Pencil. I have this product in my freelance kit and my clients love it! It’s water-proof, long-wearing and natural looking.
Have a great weekend, Friends! xo
