Do you remeber Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” music video from 2003?  Ok, well I have to tell you that one of my favorite scenes in that video is about 45 seconds in, when she’s on a rooftop.  The is sun setting on the city scape behind her as she’s busting a move with the wind blowing in her hair, looking F.I.N.E. – Fine!  Can you feel me on this?  Although I have nothing on Queen B, I sure did have fun shooting this style series with Daniella Guzzo.  So thanks for the inspiration, B!  Your stuff just never gets old!

The Outfit:

When coordinating this ensemble, I wanted the shorts to be the main feature, as they are superb!  I paired them with this simple, one-sleeve white blouse, for balance and contrast.  I incorporated these gorgeous fuchsia suede Manolos, to brings out the pink floral detail in the shorts and for a pop of color.  For accessories, I chose this simple gold cuff, for a little sparkle, and this metallic woven clutch, for texture.  And there you have my Style SacramentTM #3 – DLDB, “Dark, Light, Dull, Bright”

I LOVE these colorful, W118 by Walter Baker, silk trouser shorts.  In fact, I love everything about Walter Baker’s designs!  I find that his clothing fits extremely well on women, which is probably why I have so many of his piece in my wardrobe!  I seem to gravitate toward his modern and fashion forward designs, not to mention his selection of fun yet edgy fabrics.  HIs line also happens to be very reasonably priced, which is always a plus in my books!
